2019 Ziel erreicht: 100.000€ Zinsen bei Finbee

FinbeeAm 18.

– Ca. 15.000€ Steuern in Litauen (15%)
– Ca. 15.000€ Steuern in Deutschland (ca. 15%)
– 2.430,49 € Zweitmarktverluste (Kredite mit Abschlag verkauft)
– 731,76 € Gebühren (Auf dem Zweitmarkt Kredite verkauft)
==========================
+ 39.105,72€

Das wären also 40% Steuern.
Also zahle ich in etwa gesamt 30% Steuern.

Hello. It’s so unfair that both Lithuanian and German governments take % on our interest (and they don’t care that we all have many losses). It would be so much better (and simpler):

1) you put to platform 10’000 eur
a) you „earn“ 5’000 -> no taxes;
b) you „earn“ 10’000 -> no taxes.

2) you take out X eur from platform:
a) 8’000 – no taxes (since 8K – 10K = -2K = still no real profit);
b) 12’000 – there is finally some profit: 12K – 10K = 2K.

In other words, taxes are calculated when X eur taken out from platform exceeds Y eur that investor put to platform.

    Hi arnoldas,

    yes this would be easier.
    If I had default loans in my Portfolio I cannot say I have losses to my german Tax Authority, because theoretically borrowers can pay years after default.

    But I can realize my losses when I sell them on the secondary market. Then the german Tax Authority accept the losses and I have to pay fewer tax.

Very interesting!

Quick question, why do you get rid of the small credits. I mean I do not really care if I borrow a lender 1 EUR or 100 EUR as long as the ROI is same.

What is the reason you sell anything under 30 EUR?

    Hi Christian,

    you are right the ROI is the same. But I do take care actively of the loan parts. That means I look at whether a borrower has paid a few days later. If yes, then i sell the credit. And to check every borrower it takes time.

    So I don’t spend too much time on checking the payments on the loan parts, I have decided to have only parts over 30€. Most of my shares are 50 €.

    If I would only invest passive, then yes then it would be no matter how big the loan parts are.

    Andreas
